Biography
Ana Damonte is the Project Manager at Quantum. Her role involves coordinating projects, planning execution, and actively participating in reviewing and presenting the results of studies conducted. She is also the Commercial Manager at Iris Energía, a company dedicated to providing smart solar installation solutions for businesses and electric distributors, offering solutions in energy generation and environmental care.
She has over 17 years of experience in developing consulting projects in the Latin American energy sector.
She has managed numerous studies in the energy sector, notably: a study on efficient investment costs for natural gas transport assets for Grupo Promigas in Colombia; specialized consulting for support in the international natural gas market and econometrics for EPE (Empresa de Pesquisa Energética) in Brazil; and a study on power and heat cogeneration for PROMAIZ S.A. (Bioethanol Plant of AGD and Bunge), Argentina, among others.
She has actively participated as a consultant in over 12 rate studies for natural gas distribution and transportation in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and India. She has conducted service quality audits in the electricity distribution sector and developed feasibility studies for cogeneration plant installations.
Together with her team, she developed seven Benchmarking Studies on Operation and Maintenance Costs for Natural Gas Companies. These studies included participation from the 30 leading companies in Latin America.
She has been a speaker at numerous seminars and in-company trainings on public service regulation throughout Latin America, including: Natural Gas Economic Regulation Seminar in Brazil, organized by Quantum in Belo Horizonte (Brazil); 3rd Public Service Regulation Seminar, Rate Design and Incentives, organized by Quantum and held in Salvador (Brazil), among others.
