Biography
Pedro Assunção is a senior consultant at Quantum. His main role is to carry out production activities related to consultancy projects, such as descriptive analysis and data processing, regression analysis, market studies, demand projections, and the preparation of technical reports.
Pedro has been working at Quantum Brazil since January 2021, and previously, he was an administrative support intern at Banco Mercantil do Brasil (2019). In his early years at the company, he mainly worked on business diagnostics and tariff review projects with basic sanitation and natural gas companies such as CESAN (Espírito Santo), COPASA (Minas Gerais), GASMIG (Minas Gerais), COPERGÁS (Pernambuco), ESGÁS (Espírito Santo), and CAGECE (Ceará).
Pedro also worked on the project for the regionalization of basic sanitation services in Minas Gerais, contracted by the IFC (International Finance Corporation), where he participated in developing a methodology for estimating potential revenues, CAPEX, and OPEX. Recently, he helped develop a load characterization campaign for Ukraine, a project funded by US Aid.
The economist graduated from Faculdade Ibmec/MG (2021) and holds an MBA in Data Science from the University of São Paulo (2023). He also has skills in data processing, modeling, and analysis in Python, R Studio, and Power BI, along with international experience, having completed elective courses mainly focused on international economics at Université de Strasbourg in France (2020).
