Biography
Agustina Descalzo is an advanced student of Chemical Engineering at the National Technological University – Regional Faculty of Córdoba, Argentina, and is currently developing her final project.
Previously, she worked as a Quality Engineering Specialist in the Production Engineering area at Renault Group, where she was responsible for implementing and overseeing the Comprehensive Monitoring Plan, defining control methods, and locally adapting corporate standards. She was also in charge of monitoring KPIs and conducting feasibility analysis.
Currently, she is a Junior Consultant at Quantum, having joined in 2024. In this role, she provides support in data processing and analysis for consulting projects and related research.
Agustina Descalzo actively participates in a benchmarking project in the electricity sector, where she develops and analyzes comparisons on the performance and operational practices of electric companies in relation to industry standards, aiming to identify improvement opportunities and adopt best practices.
Additionally, she collaborates on a project for the electricity sector in Belize, which includes a Benchmarking Study, an Analysis of Revenue/Service Cost Requirements, and the development of a Tariff Action Plan (TAP). In this project, she analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the cost efficiency, productivity, and financial sustainability of electricity companies, and proposes improvements to optimize the tariff framework and operational processes in the Belizean electricity sector.
