Sergio Damonte is a Senior Consultant for Quantum, expert on network optimization. He is an Industrial Engineer, graduating with the highest grades of 1998 from the Catholic University of Córdoba.
He has taken part in numerous public service company regulation projects in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic and in a variety of tariff calculation processes for gas and electricity distribution companies. He has developed models simulating the electricity systems of Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela and Argentina.
Among the projects carried out are several runs for determining energy prices in Argentina and Bolivia, a pre-feasibility study for an electricity link between Argentina and Brazil, a determination of the basic power price in Bolivia, an evaluation of the impact of regulatory change in Venezuela on the income of generation companies, and an audit of the operation of the Peruvian electricity market operator. |
