Carlos María Varas became a lawyer in 1965 in the Law and Social Sciences School of the National University of Córdoba.
He is the Coordinator and a Senior Partner of the Estudio Jurídico Varas & Asociados law firm and he is the Director of the Legal Department for Quantum.
He was a professor in the Administrative Law Department, School of Law; and a member of the Institute of Administrative Law and also member of the Governing Council of the Law School.
In his private practice as a lawyer, he was the Director of Legal Affairs of SOINCO S.A., an electricity transportation line construction company, and a Counsel to the Professional Council of the Board of Engineering and Architecture. In the public sector he was a Counsel and Secretary to the Government of the City of Córdoba, Argentina, and Coordination under-secretary at the National Ministry of Education, Argentina. He was a Member of the ERSEP Writing Committee, the Public Services Regulatory Body of Córdoba Province, Argentina. |
